  • Ensuring effective delivery and development of retail apprenticeships
  • Managing relationships with apprenticeship training providers
  • Providing regular and accurate reporting and forecasts on levy utilisation
  • Ensuring CRUK's employer provider status is maintained for Retail Apprenticeships and all OFSTED requirements are met
  • Leading and managing direct reports, including setting objectives, regular coaching and feedback and day to day management to ensure L&D activities are delivered to a high standard.

What skills are you looking for?

You'll be able to bring to the role:

  • Significant experience of working in partnership with internal business customers to assess needs and deliver successful L&D solutions
  • Experience of designing and delivering large-scale Learning, Apprenticeship or Professional development programmes
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills with the ability to adapt style and approach to different audiences
  • Effective planning and project management skills with the ability to set and work to deadlines in complex, matrixed environments
  • Excellent people management skills, ensuring staff are supported, motivated and challenged to achieve objectives

What will I gain?

Without you we wouldn't be able to achieve our aim of seeing 3 in 4 people survive cancer by 2034. So, we want to reward you in as many ways as possible. Our benefits package includes discounts on anything from travel to technology, generous holiday allowance, gym membership, and much more. We want to ensure that you have the best work/life balance possible, so we actively encourage a flexible working culture for all our roles wherever possible. For most of our office-based roles you'll only be required to work from a specific location for 1 or 2 days a week on average. You'll also be able to access a wide range of learning and development opportunities. And ultimately, you'll know that you'll be changing lives through your work.
